I don't think you need any definite articles in the Hebrew but they might appear in translation.
I suppose a little context would be nice. But I don't have any apart from Psalm 49 - where you might say I am straining at a gnat, and Proverbs 8 and Job 27 and Numbers 23 - a few places where the enveloping word is used. I have a memory of a not so good book with a great title - Physics as metaphor. And the thought occurred to me reading Clayboy and Entangled States and the Floppy Hat this morning.
