2 Kings 25

Looks like I forgot to post this one. Am getting ahead of myself. This parallels Jeremiah 52, and 40, soon to come. Then I think several chapters of Exodus for a respite.

2 Kings 25 Fn Min Max Syll
1 And it happened in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth new moon, on the tenth of the month, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babel, came, he and all his force, against Jerusalem, and encamped against her,
and they built against her a siege-wall round about.
3c 4B 49
10
2 And the city came under siege,
until the eleventh year of the reign of Zedekiah.
3e 4C 8
14
3 On the ninth of the month so resolute was the famine in the city,
that there was no bread for the people of the land.
3e 4B 15
10
4 And the city was split, and all the men of the battle in the night, by way of the gate between the walls, by the king's garden. And the Chaldeans were against the city round about,
and they went by way of the steppe.
3e 4C 41
9
5 And the force of the Chaldeans pursued after the king and they overtook him in the steppes of Jericho,
and all his force was dispersed from him.
3e 4C 24
10
6 And they arrested the king, and they brought him up to the king of Babel toward Riblah,
and they subjugated him to judgment.
3d 4A 22
7
7 And the children of Zedekiah they butchered before his eyes,
and the eyes of Zedekiah, he blinded, and bound him with brass chains, and brought him to Babel.
3e 4C 14
24
8 And in the fifth month, on the seventh of the month, (this was year nineteen of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babel)
Nebuzaradan, the overlord of the slaughterers, a servant of the king of Babel, entered Jerusalem.
3c 4C 35
20
9 And he incinerated the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king,
and all the houses of Jerusalem and every great house, he incinerated in the fire.
3c 4B 13
19
10 And the wall of Jerusalem round about,
all the force of the Chaldeans that was with the overlord of the slaughterers, broke down.
3e 4B 10
12
11 And the remaining of the people, the residue in the city, and the fallen that fell to the king of Babel, and the remaining of the tumult,
Nebuzaradan, the overlord of the slaughterers, had exiled.
3e 4C 34
11
12 But from the weak of the land, the overlord of the slaughterers left a residue,
for the vineyards and for the ploughed fields.
3e 4B 13
6
13 And the pillars of brass that were of the house of Yahweh, and the bases, and the brass sea that was by the house of Yahweh, the Chaldeans broke,
and they bore away their brass toward Babel.
3c 4B 34
10
14 And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass that were for ministry among them, they took away. 3c 4B 37
15 And the censers, and the bowls, that were gold, in gold, and that were silver, in silver,
the overlord of the slaughterers took.
3e 4C 24
6
16 The pillars, two, the sea, one, that Solomon made for the house of Yahweh.
There was no appraisal for all these brass vessels.

17 Eighteen cubits, the height of the one pillar, and encircling it brass, and the height of the capital, three cubits, and a mesh, and pomegranates against the capital surrounding, the whole of brass,
and like these of the second pillar over the fretwork.
3c 4B 54
14
18 And the overlord of the slaughterers took Saraiah, the head priest, and Zephaniah, priest of the second order,
and three of the keepers of the doorway.
3e 4B 25
9
19 And from the city, he took one eunuch, (he was an officer over the warriors), and five persons from those who saw the presence of the king, that were found in the city, and the secretary, chief of the host who pressed into service the people of the land,
and sixty adults from the people of the land that were found in the city.
3e 4C 59
15

and ushered them to the king of Babel toward Riblah.
3c 4B 14
13

21 And the king of Babel struck them and put them to death in Riblah, in the land of Hamath,
and exiled Judah away from its own ground.
3c 4B 19
11
22 And the people, the residue in the land of Judah, that Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babel, left as residue,
he entrusted them to Gedoliah, child of Ahiqam, child of Shaphan.
3e 4B 25
18
23 When all the chiefs of the forces, they and their soldiers, heard that king of Babel had entrusted Gedoliah, they came to Gedoliah at Mizpah,
both Yishmaeil, child of Nathaniah, and Jochanan, child of Qareiach, and Saraiah, child of Tanhumeth, the Netophatite, and Jaazaniah, child of the Maakatite, they and their soldiers.
3e 4C 41
46
24 And Gedoliah swore to them and to their soldiers, and he said to them, Do not fear service to the Chaldeans.
Settle in the land and serve the king of Babel, and it will be good for you.
3d 4C 28
18
25 And it happened in the seventh month, Yishmaeil, child of Nathaniah, child of Elishama, from the seed of royalty, came, and ten persons with him, and they struck Gedoliah and he died,
and the Judeans and the Chaldeans who were with him in Mizpah.
3e 4C 48
19
26 And all the people arose from the least and to the greatest, and the chiefs of the forces, and they came to Egypt,
for they feared the presence of the Chaldeans.
3e 4C 27
7
27 And it happened in the thirty seventh year of the exile of Jehoiakin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty seventh of the month,
Evilmerodak, king of Babel, in the year he became king lifted up the head of Jehoiakin, king of Judah, from the house of restraint.
3d 4C 37

28 And he spoke well with him,
and he positioned his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babel.
3c 4A 7
20

and he ate bread before him continually all the days of his life.
3c 4B 8
15
